Technologies used
My role within the project
Before the beginning of the Endt I have developed a webshop in WooCommerce. I made the basic structure with header and footer and set up the product page to show events. In the backend I added options for statuses (Active, planned, expired) and for custom price display. I also worked out the single product page, built an order modal and the checkout page, where the payment options depend on the event status. I also developed the mini-cart.
Sort options
I have added extra functionality in the backend. A status can be set at each event, such as active, planned or expired. As a result, the overview is always up-to-date and the user immediately knows which events are available. In addition, it is possible to show the price not only as an amount, but also to replace it with your own text. This gives extra flexibility in the presentation of events.

Product page (Events overview)
After the navigation and footer I started the product page, which I set up in WooCommerce to show non-standard products, but events. All events are automatically retrieved from the backend and displayed in clear maps. This gives the visitor a clear picture of which events are available.
Single product page (Event detail page)
I then built the single product page. This page has been made fully functional based on the supplied design. All data is retrieved from the backend and can be easily adjusted. In this way, every event can be managed and presented in detail.

Order modal
To make ordering easier and more user-friendly, I have developed an order modal. This is a pop-up where visitors can easily select tickets or participation without having to leave the page. This ensures a faster and smoother ordering experience.

Checkout page
After the detail page and order modal I have set up the checkout page. Here, the payment methods are automatically adjusted based on the status of the event: with an active event you can pay directly via iDeal, while the available payment options are automatically limited for planned or expired events. This ensures a flexible and user-friendly ordering process.
In addition, I have developed the mini-cart. This gives visitors an overview of the selected events and tickets at a glance and makes it possible to proceed easily to the checkout. Thanks to the combination of mini-cart and dynamic checkout page, the entire ordering process remains clear and intuitive.
